The World Health Organization (WHO) has declared a Public Health Emergency of International Concern (PHEIC) due to the active circulation of MPOX. We present, through a clinical case observed in March 2025 in a Congolese national, the main benchmarks for the virological diagnosis treatment and prevention of this emerging viral infection.
